2018 Summer Internship Grant Program (SIGP): Applications Now Open
Application Deadline: Thursday, April 5

SIGP provides a $3000 stipend for Northwestern undergraduate students participating in unpaid internships this summer and offers career development support from NCA. Students must be enrolled full-time at least through fall 2018 in one of the following schools: Bienen, McCormick, Medill, SoC, SESP or Weinberg. Students do not need to have an internship secured before applying and previous SIGP recipients can reapply.

Winter Express Advising in the Main Library
Stop by the Express Advising Center weekdays in the Main Library (2N Core) from 2-4 p.m. (or Sundays from 1:30-3:30 p.m.) for a resume/cover letter review or to get answers to quick career-related questions, with no appointment required.

In addition, NCA Career Ambassadors will be at the following locations throughout winter quarter to provide resume and cover letter feedback. Schedule change: Please note that CA hours on Thursday, Feb. 22 will be held from 4-6 p.m. this week.

Get an insider’s perspective on what it’s like to work in the nonprofit and social justice fields at some of the top organizations in the field while connecting with Northwestern alumni and industry professionals. Potential site visits will include Drinker Biddle Nonprofit Donor Services, UChicago Urban Labs and National Immigrant Justice Center.
