First-year undergraduates are eligible to apply for an Early Research Experience Award (EREA), which pairs them with a faculty member specializing in a topic of interest to the student. This grant provides financial assistance to senior acting and musical theatre undergraduate students who have been selected to participate in the Senior Performance Showcase opportunities over spring break and towards the end of spring quarter. All students that are selected are invited to perform for an audience of New York Talent Agents and casting directors
These funds were made possible by a gift from a generous donor to ensure that SoC Undergraduate students with demonstrated financial need have equal access to out-of-classroom learning experiences.
