SoC students have the option of pursuing one or more modules in the School of Communication. Some modules may be open to non-SoC students as well. A curricular initiative unique to SoC, modules are highly focused plans of study that include formal coursework, co-curricular activities, and pre-professional experiences, and culminate in the creation of a capstone project. In modules, communities of diverse learners and experts help you bridge theory and practice. These communities are led by School of Communication faculty—artists, scientists, and researchers who by and large are as visible and experienced outside university gates as within them. The faculty leaders are supported by advisory boards that bring industry insiders to the table to provide even more practical insight.
